Abstract (EN)

The present study aims to examine the relationships between workaholism, interpersonal conflict and subjective workload. In addition, the study aimed to examine the independent effects of interpersonal conflict and subjective workload on workaholism and the effects of subjective workload on interpersonal conflict. The study also examined whether interpersonal conflict has a moderating role in the relationship between subjective workload and workaholism. The study participants were nurses working in a university hospital (N=273). Participants completed the Interpersonal Conflict at Work Scale, the Turkish Version of the Subjective Workload Scale, and the Turkish Form of the DUWAS Scale. According to the correlation results, interpersonal conflict and subjective workload were positively correlated with working excessively and working compulsively. According to the regression analysis results, interpersonal conflict and subjective workload positively affect working excessively and working compulsively. In addition, according to the results, interpersonal conflict does not have a moderating role in the relationship between subjective workload and workaholism.
