Nurses impulsivity investigation of the relationship between anxiety and anger levels with the defense style

Nursing is known as a stressful occupation in terms of working conditions. To control impulsivity nurses stress, anxiety and anger coping mechanisms and with the defence needs to know use the formats must have skills. This work is the nurse of impulsiveness, anxiety and anger levels with an investigation of the relationship between forms of defense style and was held in order to determine the factors affecting. Research training and research Hospital Gülhane Military Medical Academy of internal units, surgical units, intensive care and emergency service workers a total of 460 nurse 15.09.2014-30.04.2015 nurse selected as the sample with 370 was held. Research, socio-demographic data collection form, Barratt Impulsivity Scale, Beck Anxiety Scale, Multidimensional Anger Scale and the scale of Defense Formats were used. Nurses "general impulsivity" score average of 65.40 ± 6.96, "anxiety" score average 13.71 ± 11.16, "symptoms of anger" points average of 31.50 ± 10.81, "the anger that leads to situations in which" average of 145.36 ± 30.70. In addition, nurses "immature defense" points average 104.77 ± 28.78, "neurotic defenses" score is the average of the defences of mean 41.79 ± 8.55 and "mature defenses" score was found to be the average of 44.36 ± 9.49. Nurses the overal level of impulsiveness, level of anxiety, anger-related thoughts, it was found that anger-related behaviors and increase the size of immature defense interpersonal anger level.
