The impact of occupational risks of nurses on work stress (An example of trai̇ni̇ng and research Hospi̇tal)

This research; Health Sciences Universify is planned as a cross-sectional, descriptive study to determine the effect of the risks and hazards encountered by nurses working in Trabzon Kanuni Education and Research Hospital on work stress. The nurses, who working in Health Sciences Universify Trabzon Kanuni Education and Research Hospitalin May-june 2018 (280 people) , constitute the universe of research. All of the universe is included in the research. 278 people have been reached other than those who refusu to fill out a questionnuire. The data of the study were collected by observing the survey under observation. And the survey questions include socio demographic characteristics, risk and hazard perceptions due to working environment, questions on health conditions and working, Health worker‟s safety scale (SÇGÖ) and Beck Anxiety scale (BAÖ) questions.Data analysis made with frequency, t test, one way analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation analysis. %87,4 of nurses included in the study are woman, the other % 12.6 are men and their age averages is 33.36 + 7.2 (min:21, max:56). Job security at the hospital where the research was conducted is provided but it was seen that nurses are experiencing mild levels of anxiety. Key words: Nurses, Job security, Occupational risks
