A study on the quality of life and health problems of nurses

World Health Organization defines life quality as a way that individual perceives his own situation in life within direction of cultural value judgment of environment where he lives in and also his own targets, expectations, standards and interest. Nurses who undertake to do protection and development of health require to protect their own health against each kind of factors. Thus it has been aimed that health problems and life quality deriving from nurses life habits and working conditions that they have duty in region Balıkesir are assessed. Consumption sub dimension of life quality for nurses who work in polyclinic have revealed significantly lower than nurses who work in critical care, emergency and operating room, on the study which has been made. Occupational satisfaction points average of ones who work as sentry and daytime has been found significantly lower than ones who work as constantly daytime and constantly sentry. When the relation between health problems and life quality's consumption sub-dimension which they are come as depending on working conditions are examined, a significant relation among disorder, fatigue, Quickly getting angry in social life, having frequent infection, difficulty in concentration have been found as positive- direction statistic.It has been concluded that it needs to regulate nurses working unit and ways in order to increase their life quality.
