Abstract (EN)

The study' aim was to develop a measurement tool of the methodological type with the aim of determining and evaluating the hidden curriculum in the nursing education of institutions providing nursing education in higher education. The research was carried out between September 2017 and May 2018 with 448 students studying at Ege University Nursing Faculty and Manisa Celal Bayar University Health Sciences Faculty Nursing Department. The research data were collected using socio-demographic data form and trial scale form. Content validity and construct validity were used in evaluating the validity of the research data, internal consistency and test-retest analysis were used in evaluating the reliability. For provide the content validity, created item pool, 11 experts were consulted item and piloted. Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis were used to provide construct validity. As a result of these analyses of scale "school climate", "professional competence" and "Student-teacher-school interaction" it is composed of three factor called. Cronbach's Alpha Reliability Coefficient of the total scale were found to be .912 in ensuring reliability. Pearson's Correlation Coefficient of Pearson's Moments was examined in the test-retest analysis conducted at three-week intervals to assess the time-invariance of the scale. It was determined that there was a positive, meaningful agreement at high level (r = .70). As a result of the study, the so-called "Measurement Curriculum Evaluation Scale in Nursing Education" is a measurement tool providing the psychometric properties that can be used appropriately. Keywords: validity, reliability, nursing education, scale development, hidden curriculum, psychometric properties
