The Evaluation of the efficiency of in-service (The sample of Fırat, Gazi, Marmara and TÜBİTAK)

"4, The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficiency the curricula of Education Faculties which organize in-service education of National Education Ministry, Tecnical Education Faculties and computer- aided curricula prepared by TÜBİTAK. It was aimed to get the ideas abaut ; 1. Instructors 2. Course organization 3. course planing and 4. course evalation The population of the study consist of teachers from Technical Education Faculty of Fırat University, Industrial Arts Education Facultyof Gazı University' and the teachers who attended computer- aided education course in the field of teacher formation education and teacher development in TÜBİTAK during 19S6- 1997 summer term. The teachers who attended the course were given questionnaires and their ideas abaut in-service education were evaluated. The data were analysed by using SPSS statistics program in IBM compatable computers. Frenquency, percent, mean, standart deviation, independent group t- test, paired group t-test and variance analysis were used in evaluating the data. Significant level was accepted as P<0.05 in variance analysis and t-test, and any difference at the level of P<0.01was taken into consideration. The ciaîa obtained are as follows; 1. The Teacher attended FTE and DTE stated that there were problems dealing with course instructors, 2. It was seen that universites and the other organizations did not recognize in-service education sufficiently effective. POKÛMAiNTAüV\ii> MIUMIÜm 3. It was obtained that In-Service Education Depaertment of the Ministry of National Education, the universities and organizations which are organizing the course had some problems in planing in-service education courses. 4. ft was obtained that in-service education programs were evaluated without taking into consideration the criteria of evaluation.
