Abstract (EN)
The proliferation of emerging information and new media technologies in every communication related area including art changed the world as we experience and understand it.The purpose of this research is to access and analyze the current artistic experience involved to the world of scientific research and its interpretation of the new perspectives on human body, which is redefined in social sciences with the help of information and new media technologies. The general structure of this research is based on the objectives of the term new media and new media art using medical sciences and biomedical technologies in cultural and social levels. Artists who work with these technologies are rewriting the human body in cultural and theoretical means with the concepts like identity, gender, embodiment, memory and other.
