Comparison of alllogreft and synthetic graft results in patients with elastic intramedullar nail in the treatment of simple bone cyst in the humerus

When we compared the patients whounder went allogeneic bone graftand EIN fordefectsformedaftercurettage of humeral-locatedsimple bone cystswiththosewhounderwentsynthetic bone graftand EIN, similarresultswereobtained in terms of cysthealing time, clinicalscoresandcomplications. Interms of cysthealing (unionstate), similar results were obtained with synthetic grafts and allogeneic bone grafts. Syntheticgrafts; It is a very good alternative to allografts in thetreatment of simple bone cysts due to its advantage ssuch as beingclosetotheallogeneic bone graft, itscompatibilitywithbiology, low risk of rejection and carrying disease, being available in large quantities, ease of storage conditions and sterilization steps.
