This study has emerged with the aim of serving Arabic, the language of the Qur'an, and analyzes the phrases of hal and shibh-i hal in the story of Prophet Moses (pbuh) in the Qur'an. The study consists of an introduction and two parts. At the end of the study, there is the conclusion part in which the data are presented. In the introductory part, the effect of the Qur'an on grammar and rhetoric studies is discussed. In the first chapter, hal and şibh-i hal sentences are discussed in terms of their meanings, types, elements, interests and duties. In the first part, the conditions of the sentences of hal and şibh-i hal, their agents, the sentences that have the case and the related sentences are also examined. At the end of the chapter, hal and şibh-i hal sentences are evaluated in terms of rhetoric. The second part is about the practical aspect of the study. In this direction, Mr. Hal and shibh-i hal sentences in the story of Musa (as) were examined in terms of syntax and rhetoric. In addition to this, the views of scholars on this subject were revealed, evaluated and preferences were made between them. In the conclusion part of the study, the data obtained in the study are presented. Accordingly, the sentences of hal and şibh-i hal come to the fore not only in terms of syntax, but also their rhetorical aspect.
