Place of İbn Abī al-Dunyā and his book "Kitāb al-ʻİyāl"in the science of hadith

In this study titled " Place of Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā and His Book Kitāb Al-ʻIyāl in Science of Hadith ", the life, works, teachers, and students of Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā, who was born in Baghdad in the 3rd century after Hijrah, are examined. His place and his book Kitāb Al-ʻIyāl's place in the science of hadith are focused on. The work is composed of an introduction and two parts. In the first chapter, the structure of the Abbasids during the period when Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā lived was briefly contacted. In addition, in the first chapter, issues such as Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā's life, madhhab, hadithism, and opinions about him are discussed. In the second chapter, which constitutes the main theme of the study, the presentation of Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā's book "Kitāb Al-ʻIyāl" with its features, its sources, its place among similar books, and issues such as its hadith types according to their sources, the evaluation of its riwayats and its referencing (istishhad) to poetry are emphasized.
