Administrators and teachers an investigation into students for the improvement of reading habits

This study aimed at the evaluation of the opinions about reading habit of Turkish language teachers and administrators working and 7. Class students studying in the public junior high schools in Üsküdar district of Istanbul.The sample of this study is 203 students studying in the in the public junior highs chools in Üsküdar district of Istanbul in the academic year 2012-2013and149 Turkish language teacher and administrators working in the seublic junior highs chools in Üsküdar district of Istanbul in the academic year 2012-2013.In the study the effortan deffectiven essscores wereanalysed according to the demographic variables of teachers and administrators. In the study the frequency application and effectiven essscores were an alysed according to the demographic variables of of students.According to the findings of the teacher survey of the study, the male teachers had madem oreefforts than the female teachers in acquiring the students the habit of readingbook. Another findings of the of the teacher survey of the study is that the male teachers had been more effective than the female teachers in acquiring the students the habit of reading book.
