Abstract (EN)
Climate justice is a concept that draws attention to the injustices caused by climate change. Existing socioeconomic inequalities are deepening with climate change, and this is emphasized with the concept of climate justice. However, climate change is a problem that goes beyond this, and requires questioning about what kind of world is left to future generations, the life of other living things on earth, and the existence of ecosystems and non-living nature. Environmental ethics can be used to provide a philosophical background to these inquiries. In the first part of the thesis, environmental ethics approaches that define different ethical subjects are mentioned. In the second part, the concept of climate justice is explained and approaches to climate justice are mentioned. It was concluded that the definition of climate justice should be expanded within the framework of an ecocentric ethics.
