Silence in the poetry of İlhan Berk, Edip Cansever and Turgut Uyar

The effects of the new world order, industrializing and increasing its speed, are among the main themes of the İkinci Yeni poem. Poets, who focus on the people and the deficiencies reflected in the change, reflect the dense images of the experiences into poetry. The İkinci Yeni poem carries the weight of the object sounds that are constantly rising with modernism. The concept of silence in the poems of İlhan Berk, Edip Cansever and Turgut Uyar gained meaning and value with variants that refer to the obscurity outside of its known meanings.
