Abstract (EN)

This study is a descriptive study aimed at investigation of primary school 5th class Turkish Language course book from different points of view.Textbook which is instructed in Adana Province of six Turkish Language course book set designated and to be instructed by Ministry of National Education has been chosen and investigated. Survey method is adopted in study and determination of existing situation is aimed. This study aims matters that efficiencies belonging to text in Turkish language book have been prepared according to which learning strategies, the learning levels; what information resources requires benefiting from efficiencies, compliance of activities to actualize individually or by group, what kind of diversity efficiency samples show.According to research findings some achieved results are as follows: the vast majority of efficiency belonging to the types of reviewed articles was prepared in a manner that it requires to use elaboration strategies, a large part of efficiencies are created in accordance with actualization in cognitive level of learning, and it was observed that the information source from which the students mostly benefit in carrying out efficiencies are the existing information, and text contained in books. In addition, it was found that the majority of efficiencies are efficiencies that students perform individually and the number of efficiencies that require making cooperation is very small. It was also found that efficiencies belonging to text shows diversity.Keywords: Turkish Language Course Book, Text Types and Learning-Teaching Efficiency
