Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of active learning approach on primary second degree students? mathematıcs successes, attıtudes and permanence levels is investigated.The sample of this study consists of 51 students, who are in seventh grade at two different school depend on Ministry of Education in Çankırı city centre in 2009-2010 academic year.The research was designed with pre-test and post-test on the control group. The study was carried out five weeks and the control group studied with conventional methods and the experimental group studied with the active learning method.An achievment test and an attitude survey have been used in this study for data gathering and t-test has been used to evaluate the hypothesis. It has been by the statistical analysis observed, that there is a significant difference between the control and experimental group according to results of the achievment post test and permanence test. The experimental group was more successful than the control group. There wasn?t a significant difference between the control and experimental group according to results of the attitude survey.As a conclusion, teaching the subject ?circle? through educational method of active learning influence the successes and permanence levels of the students fort he good.
