Abstract (EN)

This study investigated the influences of pre school education in comparing 1 st grade skills of the children who had pre school education and did not have pre school education. According to the teachers? observations the reading and writing skills, maths and self-care skills, function, social, sentimental and cognitive learning progresses in 1 st grade of primary school students who had pre school education and did not have pre school education were compared. This research includes three parts; In the first part, it is informed about the pre school education; the overall characteristics of pre schot education the historical development in pre school education and being generlized of pre school education. In the second part, the relationship between pre shool education and primary education was compared, passing pre school to primary school, comparison between the programmes of pre school and primary education, preparatory studies to primary school and the facilitating studies for passing to the primary school. The third part includes public surveys,analysis and the conclusion sections.Key Words: Pre School Period, Pre School Education, Development Progress, Preparation tı School, Primary Education.
