Evaluation of the examining ability of primary school inspectors by concerned teacher

This research is about to locate degree of the efficiency of school inpectors with respect to primary school teachers? opinions and to give some proposal about how to overcome deficiency.?Evaluation Of The Examining Ability Of Primary School Inspectors By Concerned Teacher? named research includes 334 teachers of 22 primary schools in Gebze. The questionnaire includes three sections. These are ?personal information?, ?inspectors? stance on teacher? and ?efficiency of inspectors? lesson supervision?. Total number of questions is 33.Analyses is done by the ?SPSS For Windows?. Statistical parameters like frequency (n), percent (%), mean (X), standard deviation (Sd.) are calculated. T-test is applied to variables such as gender and duty. One way ANOVA is calculated for the variables like gender, age, branch, seniority, graduation, the last three years? average supervisory score. The findings are shown in tables and commentated. In the light of this research some proposals are given.The opinions of the teachers about inspertors stance are rated as degree of `I agree?. The efficiency of inspector is rated by teacher as a value between `I agree? and `I rarely agree?.Key words: Inspector, Examining, Pimary School, Teacher, Inspection
