Personal and instructional time management of 1st level teachers of primary education

Humanity today has understood the importance of time and searching ways to use the time most efficiently. The importance of teachers about making the students conscious of the importance of time has even a higher priority. It is found valuable to make researches on time, which is a resource as important as life, considering the teachers. The purpose of this research is to determine the view points and applications on personal and Instructional time management of teachers of 1st level, to express the problems and to develop solutions. According to the results of the analyses, a huge difference has been found between the viewpoints of teachers. The place and sampling of the research compromises 36 primary schools in the centre of Elazig and 477 teachers who are working in these schools. According to the questionnaire used, the viewpoints of teachers have been evaluated. In this descriptive study a survey model has been used. With this goal a survey of 69 questions with an evaluation on 5 points have been presented to the teachers. The data gathered has been analyzed with SPSS for Windows 10.0 software. To evaluate personal information, frequency, percentage, arithmetic average, standard deviation, independent group's t test and variance analyses have been used. During the variance analyses and t test the meaningful level has been designated as P<0.05.
