An evaluation of the relationship between teachers? perception of instutional communaciation and in service training in primary schools

This research aims to determine the views that will lead us to assess the relationship between the in service edcation needs and instituonal communication perception of the teachers working in Primary Schools. The universe(evren) of this study in scanning model are teachers working in public Primary Schools in İstanbul. In the sample of the study, there are 207 primary School teachers.With the sample Group , two surveys were carried out under the topics of ?in service trainings needs? and ?instituonal communication?. The results collected were anaylzed in the SPSS program.Consequently, according to teachers working in Primary Schools, there are deficiencies and problems in many areas of instituonal communication and in service training. Before the in service training is planned, needs and expectations of the teachers should be considered, educational planning and governance should be improved, the content of the programs should be organized acorrdingly and at the end of in service training the programs should be evaluated; for a better instituonal communication communicational defects between the inferior and superior should be removed, communicational conflicts should be kept in the lowest level, personal communication devices and communication sources should be used effectively.Keywords: In service tranining, instutional communication, educational governance, Planning, conflict
