The primary school administirators and their school management skills according to teachers? opion

Schools are the most important social structure that by taking human community item within society revealing them with knowledge and skills and winning them to the society again. Training students in the best way and revealing them with knowledge and skills in the school that educational organization is depending on cooperation, harmony and succes of whole people who work in the school.The key role providing this cooperation, harmony and succes betveen workers is the school administer.The succes of a school is depending on an educational administer who can provide good relations betveen teachers, contribute development of them , develop good relation with guardian of students , attract students to school by the positive atmosphere and various activities and who is dominated on the legal process.This survey intends to competence of the school administators who work in primary schools to manage according to the various variables of teachers who join the survey. With this aim, the data is collected by applying over 200 teachers who task at the schools in the the Sarıyer county directorate of national education and they join this survey as random. In order to achieve data, the questionnaires that prepared by the researchers with the last form of expert opinion used.Looking at the findings reached according to all the variables of the teachers (demographic characteristics of them) and according to their gender, professional seniority, school type , branch, educational status and the current status of the school significant differences were obtained. In general teachers , put forth their most positive opinion about their managers at issues that following the laws related to institutions, editing the necessary documents in time, and to be dominated by issues such as regulations, circulars and etc. When examining teachers' views , they put forth their most negative about their managers at issues that Contributing to the personal development of employees , adding employees to management and working to improve the properties of the school's graduates. The findings were discussed and have been various proposals in this direction.Key Words: Primary School , school management , school administrators
