Levels of mobbing (psychological violence) of school administrators and teachers working in primary school

Inthisstudy,thelevel,characteristicsandwhopractices of theteachersandmanagersworking in primaryschools in whichtheyareexposedtointimidation in theworkingenvironmentwereinvestigated. Theresearchsampleconsists of 155 teachersandmanagersworking in 10 primaryschoolslocated in threedistricts of Istanbulprovince.The data on theintimidationactions of teachersandmanagersworking in primaryschoolswerecollected in a questionnairepreparedwith a five-likertsystem.The data wereanalyzedusingthe SPSS data analysis program andthearithmeticmean ,Mann WhitneyandKruskal Wallis test wereused. As a result of theresearch, thevariables, age, seniority, maritalstatusandtask in theintimidationactionsexposedbyteachersandschooladministratorsworking in primaryschoolsarethemostsignificantdifferencesamongthegroups.Theresults of thesevariableswerefoundto be thatemployeesbetween 29-34 years of ageweresubjectedtomoreintimidationactionsthanteachers ,comparedtotheotherseniorityranges of employeesbetween 6-10 years of age. Themajority of theintimidationactsthatoccur in primaryschoolsarepracticedbymen.Itwasdeterminedthattheagerange of thepeoplewhoappliedintimidationwaswithintheagerange of 36-48 years.38.1% of respondentswhorespondedtothesurveydid not informabout it because of differentreservations.
