Abstract (EN)

The most visible effect of burnout is the change it brings about in the employee's performance. The employee who experiences burnout becomes desensitized to his job and this leads to a decrease in his personal success. In addition, the employee's absenteeism increases, his commitment and the level of satisfaction he has received from his job also decrease. Burnout can be a very dangerous situation by spreading insidiously within the organization. The aim of this study is to try to reveal the changes caused by the Covid 19 pandemic in the working order of people, the changes in their relationships with colleagues and the impact of the measures taken during the pandemic on burnout levels. The research is a qualitative research and phenomenology was used as the research design. Purpose-oriented sample was chosen in the study. As a result of the research, an increase in emotional burnout levels was observed in employees in the manufacturing sector during the Covid 19 process. In particular, the social relations that decreased due to the necessity to comply with social distance increased the level of burnout and depersonalization. In the pandemic process, the fear of dismissal and the increase in death cases have increased depersonalization and burnout.
