The measurement and improvement methods of manufacturing productivity: An application in polipropilen cotton mills in Gaziantep

In this study, the methods of productivity measurement and improvement is investigated in polipropilen cotton miles. In this context, the ratios which is used in accounting partial productivity measurements of capital, material, machine, humanbeing and enegry is analyzed and also the studies which are done for increasing the productivity of these factors are investigated. In the research part of the study, an application is made in the companies that manufacture polipropilen cotton in Gaziantep Industrial Zone. According to the acquired data, it is determined that the companies which are in the sample of research, have operations for measuring and increasing productivity.
