Abstract (EN)

Human beings can make mistakes in the process of reasoning. Knowing in which situations and how one goes wrong enables one to prevent this. The purpose of logic is to protect the mind from falling into error. This study aims to reveal the points at which people make logical mistakes in faith and to reflect on the examination of these mistakes. The logical errors addressed are limited to a number of superstitious beliefs and the religion of Islam. In classical logic books, the subject of logical fallacies is usually analyzed in the chapter on mugalata or sophistry, one of the five arts. In this study, by utilizing these sections of the relevant sources, the errors of logic that people make in the field of faith and the analytical explanations offered for these errors are analyzed analytically and hermeneutically. Sometimes, since the fields of belief and worship are intricately intertwined, it is not possible to evaluate them separately from each other. For this reason, some logical errors related to worship have also been mentioned from time to time. First, the mistakes that people fall into at the point of belief are revealed, and then an attempt is made to explain how these logical errors can be eliminated. In the field of logic, there is a serious shortage of relevant examples. One of the main reasons for this problem can be said to be the approach of some logicians that they do not have to give examples on the subject. This study is a small step towards overcoming this deficiency. Keywords: Logic, Logic Mistakes, Belief, Mugalata, Safsata.
