In applying English lesson curriculum the new methods and tecniques to motivate students

Children are more advantageous than adults in language learning. They have a faster , easier , and more `?natural `? second language acquisitionThis research was done for determining the new methods and techniques in English programme to motivate students .The survey method was utilized since the research describes an existential condition.This is a descriptive research. Likert scale was used in questionaire. The research data was gathererd with questionaires. The questionare took its last shape after a long period of scanning related researches and resources. To get data about new method and technique, one measurement materiels which are apllied to teachershave been improved. In the first part of it , there are 5 questions that aim to get personal data about participants. In the second part, there are 24 questions that aim to state teachers' opinions about the method and techniqueThe universe of the research consists of English teachers who work in elementary schools in Tuzla and Pendik in İstanbul ( Anatolian Side) in 2008/2009 Education and Training period. This research was applied to 121 English teachers who were randomly selected from 40 elementary schools.To analyse the data that was gathered from participants statistical SPSS program was used. I?order to analyse data some scientific methods were followed like : frequency ( N ), percent ( P ), mean ( X ), and standard deviation ( Ss ). Tables and graphics were formed and data was interpreted.Considering the findings of research ,some suggestions were given.
