Role and importance of leadership in human resources management

Leader and leadership are one of the basic principles for an organization to rise rapidly in a competitive environment by creating unique differences. First of all, the employees who work in the organization believe in their leaders, they will be highly motivated employees who identify themselves with the leadership identity and benefit for the organization. Human resources management is another factor that plays an important role in achieving the purpose of the organization. Efficient and active evaluation of the potential of human resources management is very important for management. Today, a much more important perspective on human resources management has taken a step forward in the impact dimension of the leader in applications and stages. To have leadership qualities of corporate executives in studies concerning human resources, creates changes in corporate culture and management understanding. While the leaders instil motivation and trust in their employees through their efforts, they enable all partners of the organization to approach the organization with a positive sense with the critical steps they take. For this reason, the problematic of what kind of influence the leadership has on human resource management is important. In this study, it has been tried to determine which functions of human resources management are conducted and the effects of leadership on these functions. After the study; leadership practices increase the effectiveness, continuity, competitiveness of the organization, the self-confidence of the personnel working in the organization, the beliefs of the employees in the organization, and decrease the impact levels of the uncertainty and other threats faced by the organization. In the research, it can be interpreted that there is a strong and positive connection regarding leadership and human resources management as a result of examining the previous studies on leadership and human resources issues.
