Abstract (EN)
SARS-CoV-2 virus has presented an unprecedented challenge for the medical care community across the world. Cardiovascular risk factors and chronic cardiology conditions are prevalent between patients impacted by COVID-19 and connected with dangerous outcomes. The aim of the thesis was to find if there is the relationship between D-dimer levels and Cardiovascular disease in hospitalized patients with Covid-19. A total of 173 Participants were involved in this study. For the purpose of comparison, 48 healthy individual as control group A and 125 patients with coexisting CVD and COVID-19 as patient group B. The principle of immunoassay uses a sandwich immunodetection method for the quantitative determination of C-Reactive Protein (CRP), D-Dimer together with anti-COVID-19 IgM, IgG antibodies. The results of this study show that patients with underlying cardiovascular system diseases are prevalent between patients affecting by severe COVID-19 and the age group 21-40 year scored highest percentage to have a particular COVID-19 infection. There were significantly higher rates of D‐dimer and CRP in COVID‐19 patients with Cardiovascular system diseases and they are have high sensitivity in screening patients with COVID-19 as well as necessary prognostic factors.
