Work-family,family-work conflict on the management of a research on teachers in the schools of the Ministry of Education

Work and family roles are the roles that one spend biggest time for and work hardest on them. The roles that individuals commit in their work and family life are dissonant if the demands and needs appear on the same time for those roles. The demands resulted from work and family areas causes conflicts between work and family roles. As a result of the high expectancies on the both roles on work and family life and the insufficiency of support and resources to cover these expectancies, the balance of work-family goes wrong and conflicts happen. At the situations of having wrong balance of work-family, troubles happen at family relationships and work area. As a result of involvement of women to work life and taking the roles of home and work at the same time, obligation about sharing home responsibilities with women has appeared for men. The changing share of roles in family is being to cause work-family conflict.In this study, 444 teachers working in schools affiliated with questionnaire method on the effects of work-family conflict were examined according to demographic characteristics. Results of the study: The questions about work-family life conflict and demographics information were asked to participants from public schools. The results show that variables of age, number of children, family members needed to be cared, education level, work experience, work hours, and status doesn?t cause work-family conflict. However, teachers' work-family conflict, family-work conflict were more than the living. Their work-family conflict of women than men has been identified. Teachers have been working wives shows the work-family conflict experienced.
