Abstract (EN)
One of the most important factors in the success of organizations is that the workforce owned can meet the job requirements for which they are responsible. Fulfillment of these requirements also depends on the person's compliance with the job. Person-job fit is the result of the employee's ability to fulfill job requirements by using his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, and as a result of meeting their expectations from the relevant job. Meeting the expectations of the person and seeing himself/herself competent in his/her job is effective on the positive feelings, attitudes and thoughts he/she feels towards his/her job. Job satisfaction results from the provision of internal and external factors that lead to such positive feelings and attitudes. The individual's job-related duties, interaction with other individuals and customers within the organization, what the job he/she has meant to him/her can affect both person-job fit and job satisfaction. The ability to change and regulate such factors by the employee expresses the concept of job crafting. Job crafting refers to the changes the employee makes in the work-related, relational and cognitive boundaries as a result of his proactive behavior. Changes made by the employee as a result of job crafting behavior may affect the person-job fit and job satisfaction. Providing person-job fit and job satisfaction, which has an important effect on individual and organizational outcomes, is important for both the organization and the individuals. Based on this, the effect of job crafting behaviors on person-job fit and job satisfaction was examined in the thesis study. Quantitative research method was applied in the study, and data were collected from 144 employees of 11 hotels in Mugla and Aydin provinces with the survey technique. Valid and reliable scales were used to measure job crafting, person-job fit and job satisfaction. In order to determine the relationships between the variables, simple and multiple resression analysis was applied to the collected data. As a result of the findings, it has been determined that job crafting has a significant and positive effect on person-job fit and job satisfaction. When the effects of the dimensions were examined, task and cognitive crafting had a significant and positive effect on person-job fit and job satisfaction, while the relational crafting dimension did not have a significant effect on person-job fit and job satisfaction. When the relationship between person-job fit and job satisfaction was examined, it was found that the person-job fit had a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction.
