Abstract (EN)

Manpover has an important issue in service facilities.In terms of thıs stage, employee has an important role to satisfy consumers and to improve service quality. To satisfy fast and correctly the demands and needs of consumers require being efficiently empowered employee. The organizational goals and targets must be complying with employees goals and targets and whose commitment must be built are neccessary to apply accurately empowerment and to continue it's sustainable. The main goal of this study is to search the relationship between organizational commitment and empowerment of employee in accommodation operations. In this scope a case study was applied to 410 workers who were selected randomly from 4216 workers in 16 five stars hotels in Ankara. A questionnaire was used to collect data from respondents. All data were analyzed by using regression, correlation, t, and Anova statistical tests. According to the statistical test a significant relationship was found between empowerment of employee and organizational commitment. Also the level of relationship was calculated as %49,8.
