The rights and responsibilities of raped women according to Islamic Law

Our thesis is written under the title of Rights and Responsibilities of Raped Women in Islamic Law with the idea that Islamic Law will guide again in these days when moral values have lost their importance. Our thesis aims to change the idea that Islamic Law is the source of the wrong practices established in the society and to prove that these practises originate from the practices that are common in the local laws called custom. While the thesis is being written, firstly verses and hadiths, in addition to this the classical period works of the scholars who have been doing Islamic studies were used. The latest articles and theses on the Ottoman period researches were also examined. Our thesis consists of two chapters except the introduction and conclusion. In the first part, the concepts related to this field are explained and in the second part, the data within the aim of our thesis is collected and our thesis is completed.
