Abstract (EN)

The aim of human beings to have been created is to worship Allah. Worshipping is coming to heel for magnificence of Allah in a great respect. Every worship our religion has ordered has obligations, sunnahs and elements according to itself. According to criteria that determined by certain rules, a worship which is not being performed can not be regarded as aunthentic. The most important criteria which is essential in all of the worships is undoubtedly accepted as intention. Because intention is assumed as the essence and soul of all worships. All of the worships performed and actions taken without a pure intention is regarded as worthless in view of spirituality. As great importance have been attributed to intention, we have searched the topic under the title " Intention in Islamic Worship Fiqh and its Effects on Ruling" in our study. In the first section of our study, we have focused on the meaning field of the intention and handled with all of the components of intention (deliberateness, sincere commitment, will, old, perseverance) under this title. Particularly, we analysised these concepts semantically and revealed their relationships with intention. We have also mentioned about intention, parts of intention, conditions removing intention, setting of intention and relationship of intention-action in terms of certain rules. We have revealed under this title that intention is of great importance for certain rules and no worship is valid without intention. We have discussed that intentions that do not have necessary conditions are not valid and the place of intention is in heart. We have studied the subjects such as ruling, timing and form of intention and making a partner at intention during worships (salah, fasting, hajj, zakat, sacrifice, swearing, penance, jihad) in the second section. Some canonists have accepted the existence of intention as necessary whereas others have accepted it as element and have debated on subjects such as timing , form of intention and making a partner at intention. We have evaluated the avaliable conflicts on these matters, searched causes leading canonists to conflicts and have had some conclusions. Key Words: Intention, action, sincere commitment, worship fiqh, hüküm. Quantity of Page : 273 Scientific Director: Doç Dr. Mehmet Selim ASLAN
