Analysis of the tesyini rûmî used in Islamic arts

There are many motifs in Islamic arts. The most widely used of these motifs are those of plant and animal origin. The Rumi motif is among the figures included in the decorations since the ancient Turks. Ornamentation Rumi, a type of Rumi, is one of the indispensable ornaments of Islamic arts. The oldest examples of ornamented rumi have been seen in stone works that have survived from the Anatolian Seljuk period. Patterns in geometric forms were found in the inner structures of the Rumi decorations on these architectural pieces and tombstones. The journey of the ornament rumi motif took its most beautiful form in the 16th century Ottoman art with the addition of vegetal and cloudy patterns in its interior. In our research, it has been tried to analyze the Islamic arts, illumination, miniature, tile, weaving arts, together with selected samples of rumi ornaments in stone and metalworking.
