Abstract (EN)
The Turkish World, which has spread over a wide geography, has been in cultural exchanges within itself since historical processes, has socially affected different societies with the principalities, states and empires they established in this process, and at the same time, they have developed their own epics in written and oral traditions and transferred them to new generations. Epics have used counting stones, signs, symbols, illustrations and pictorial interpretations in writing as well as being told from generation to generation in written and oral form. For this reason, in my study, the pre-Islamic Turkish epics are explained and explained by interpreting them within the framework of semiotics.
