Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study; in order to determine the seismic hazard, ground amplifications, dominant vibration periods and liquefaction risks of Isparta and its surroundings, firstly the characterization of the faults around Isparta and its district centers and Burdur city center within a circle area with a radius of 150 km, assuming Isparta as the center, was made. Then, the average and maximum magnitude magnitudes of the earthquakes that may occur depending on the fault fracture lengths were determined and as a result of these magnitude magnitudes, the main rock peak ground accelerations to occur in Isparta and its district centers and Burdur city centers were calculated by means of empirical ground motion prediction equations selected depending on the tectonic properties of the region and deterministic seismic hazard analysis was performed and the changes in accelerations depending on the distance to the faults were obtained. Then, the annual acceleration exceedance probabilities of all regions and the exceedances of these accelerations within the 50-year building life and recurrence periods were calculated with the probabilistic method and uniform hazard curves were developed. Afterwards, seismic hazard maps of the region were created as a result of both deterministic and probabilistic analyses. Afterwards, one-dimensional linear equivalent and non-linear ground response analyses were performed by Deepsoil simulation program by considering the ground profiles between the main rock and the ground surface, and spectral acceleration values and ground earthquake acceleration amplifications were calculated on the ground surface. Finally, the liquefaction potential of the region was examined.
