Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out to determine the precautions and the organization of the fires in the forests of Isparta Forest Regional Directorate between 1998 and 2017 by the distribution of fires and the fire risk analysis based on Forest District Directorates and Forest Sub-district Directorates. A total of 1,210 forest fires occurred in the forests of Isparta Regional Directorate of Forestry during the 20-year period covering the years 1998-2017 and a total area of 1.466,91 ha was burned. The highest number of fires, respectively, 284 Eğirdir (23.5%), 222 Bucak (18.4%), 191 Gölhisar (15.8%), 183 Sütçüler (15.1%), 136 Isparta (11.2%), 127 Burdur (10.5%), 67 Dinar (5.5%) occurred in the Forest District Directorates. The total burning area, 450,29 ha in Eğirdir (30.7%), 400,10 ha in Bucak (27.3%), 163,72 ha in Burdur (11.1%), 159,62 ha in Sütçüler (10.9%), 121.67 ha in Isparta (8.3%), 100.96 ha in Gölhisar (6.9%), 70,55 ha in Dinar (4.8%) Forest District Directorates. The most number of fires occurred in Eğirdir (108, 8.9%), Isparta (84, 6.9%) and Bucak (67, 5.5%), the least number of fires in Sipahiler (6, 0.5%), Pazarköy (5, 0.4%) and Kemer (4, 0.3%) in the Forest Sub-district Directorates. The most amount of total burning area are in Eğirdir (272.95 ha, 18.6%), Çamlık (171.24 ha, 11.6%) and Melli (115.46 ha, 7.8%), and the least amount of total burning area is in Sipahiler (0.11 ha, 0.007%) the Forest Sub-district Directorates. When the distribution of fires by months is examined, it can be concluded that the fire season is five months covering June-October period. It was found out that 77% of the fires during the period examined in the Regional Directorate were caused by people. The rate of fires caused by lightning is 23%. When the places where the fires occurred in the forests of Isparta Forest Regional Directorate (1998-2017 periods) are examined, it is seen that the fires are concentrated in some areas and there are no fires in some forests. The factors affecting this were determined as settlement areas and population distribution, road routes, land shape and forest structure. It is determined that Isparta, Eğirdir, Sütçüler, Burdur and Bucak Forest District Directorates are the first degree most dangerous to fire and Gölhisar and Dinar Forest District Directorates are the second degree very dangerous district directorate. When it is examined on the basis of Forest Sub-district Directorates; Isparta, Eğirdir, Aşağıgökdere, Sütçüler, Çandır, Karadağ, Söğütdağı, Burdur, Ağlasun, Bucak, Çamlık, Melli and Pamucak Forest Sub-district Directorate were determined to be the first degree most dangerous as Forest Sub-district Directorates.
