Abstract (EN)

In this study; How the concept of dialectics is handled in the book Being and Nothingness and its reflections in the history of philosophy were examined. The method of formation and decay of Heraclitus, Plato's dialectical method, the dialectical method of German Idealism were examined. The book, Being and Nothingness, which is influential in contemporary philosophy and existential philosophy, was examined in the context of dialectics. In Jean-Paul Sartre's concept of existence, the function of the dialectic was observed. The dialectic was studied in the contrast of being in itself and being-for-itself. How the existence for itself gains its freedom by dialectical method has been examined. Jean-Paul Sartre has seen how being relates to nothingness and grounds the absolute freedom of being for itself
