The analysis of a hadith about predestination

İn this research the hadith transmitted by Abdullah İbn Mas?ud about predestination analysised and evaluated.This study consists of an introduction and two chapters.İn the introduction it was given information about subject, boundaries, purpose and method of research and about the predestination in İslamic thougt generally.İn the first chapter, sources of hadith and ways of rivayah have been identified. İn addition the hadith subjected of sanad criticism.İn the second chapter, the hadith subjected of text criticism and has been discussing how it was understood. İn addition it was touched on using of hadith in İslamic sciences. Also were given general information about human creation, predestination, fate (ecel) and sustenance (rızk) that mentioned in the hadith.As a result, for a more accurate understanding, the hadith and the understanding of predestination has to be discussed in an objective way.
