A study on the relationship between work-family conflict and life satisfaction of women workers

The main aim of this study is to examine the relation between women workers' work-family conflict and life satisfaction. In the first part of the study; the concept of working, the processes of women joining to the work life in the historical process and the problems they face in the work-family life because of their participation in the working life are discussed in detail. In the second part of the study; the concept, the process and the types of work-family conflict, and the factors causing work-family conflict are explained; the concept of life satisfaction is discussed and the relationship between the two concepts is explained. You can find there search work in the third part of the study. The data was collected by means of a questionnaire. The questionnaire was applied to 218 women living in Orhangazi district of Bursa. The data collected from the questionnaire was analyzed using 'SPSS 15.0 For Windows'. According to the data obtained from the analysis, it was determined that there was a weak and a meaningful relation in the negative sense between work-family and family-work conflict, and life satisfaction. In addition to this, it was found that there was a relation in the positive sense between work-family Conflict and family-work conflict.
