A qualitative study on the challenges female entrepreneurs face in entering the life of commerce and the benefits of KOSGEB support

Woman enterpreneur's effects on economic developments are showing a positive development and increasing step by step. In this case, profiles of women entrepreneurs who actively working, struggles they live, KOSGEB supports and these supports' benefit to women entrepreneurs are examined. In the scope of research, women entrepreneurs had experience in business life, they had to persuade their spouse or family to start their enterprises, they had to accept support from their families because of the realize their ideals, which are have an own business and become enterpreneur. As a result of the research, it was revealed that women entrepreneurs got the occupational information and occupational skill in the business life, women didn't have to persuade their husbands and/or their family to set up their own business,they took support from their family and when most of them set the business,their wishes were supported through the attractive reasons such as running their business and fulfilling their goals. Women entrepreneurs primarily encounter macro problems such as "economic uncertainty", "capital supply" and "proper personnel supply" at the stage of setting up their enterprises. Among the micro problems, it is observed that the problem of obscurity in the sector forces women entrepreneurs Decisively. Women entrepreneurs experience difficulties in economic, individual and women-specific issues, respectively, during the activities of their enterprises. The related problems of women Entrepreneurs are concentrated in the sub-variables of financial problems and debt payoffs, bureaucratic transactions, family reasons and customer relations. It is seen that women entrepreneurs have plans for the future and that their non-economic plans aimed at improving quality and being permanent in the sector are ahead of the economic plan aimed at increasing profitability. When evaluated regionally, it has been determined that women entrepreneurs have problems with the inadequacy of the market in the province and the effect of the value judgments of the society.
