The violence against to women

Family is a social institution which constitutes the foundation of the society. It is well known that family is the smallest community which constitutes the customs, traditions, language and religion of the society. The family also, which is headstone of the society, takes an important role in cultural transmission to hand down to the next generation. A progression of the nation and its development and keeping up with the modern world is closely connected with social and psychological aspects. It seems that the problems, which are emerged in the family, directly affect the relations of the people with the society. In this point of view, in the different periods of the history shows us that violence is an important factor which damages the family members. In this article, the violence especially against the women in the family will be discussed. In addition to the reasons of the domestic violence, this paper points out that the effects on the victims of violence, the changes of her life and place in the society.
