Islamic law of friday prayer for women

The Friday prayer is a worship made obligatory with verses and hadiths. Nowadays, there is a debate about the islamic law of Friday prayer for women. This study covers the determination of whether or not Friday prayer is compulsory for women in the context of Qur'an and Sunnah. In our thesis, the basic concepts related to Friday and Friday are discussed. Afterwards, the general meaning of the verse in tafsirs and the treatment of women in terms of the Prophet Muhammed and the Companions of the Prophet reached us, the Friday prayer in general and the participation of women in the Friday prayer is gaven. The subject of the issue and the situation in contemporary studies are examined with the views of the school in Islamıc law. The scholars assessments of each other were included. As a result, it has been tried to find a solution in the light of the verse on a subject that is closely related to Muslim women, and it has been determined that the verse has entered into the general address of women. It was concluded that the views of those who claim that it is obligatory are more accurate than those who argue that it is not obligatory.
