This research covers the extent to which the anxiety and avoidance dimensions of attachment styles affect intuitive eating and eating awareness in women aged 25-50. The main purpose of the study is to contribute to the literature by examining the relationship between attachment styles and intuitive eating and mindful eating. As a result of the literature review, many studies investigating the relationship between attachment styles and eating disorders were found. However, no study examining the relationship between anxiety and avoidance dimensions, intuitive eating total score and sub-dimensions, mindful eating total score and sub-dimensions of attachment styles in individuals without a diagnosis of eating disorder was found. For this reason, it is thought that this study will contribute to future studies and literature. Demographic Information Form, Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory-II, Intuitive Eating Scale-2 and Mindful Eating Scale were used to collect data. As a result of the research, some significant relationships were found between the variables. Intuitive eating mean scores and mindful eating mean scores of those who received dietitian support were found to be significantly lower than those who did not receive dietitian support. The anxious attachment point averages of the participants who received support from a psychologist were significantly higher than the participants who did not receive support. The average of avoidant and anxious attachment of people with low income level is significantly higher than the other participants. Mindful eating averages of the participants in the secure attachment cluster were significantly higher than the participants in the preoccupied attachment cluster. Mindful eating averages of the participants in the anxious attachment cluster were significantly lower than the participants in the secure and avoidant attachment cluster. Mindful eating scores of women differ according to attachment styles.
