Educational model recommendations for acting on camera classes

Acting, which is a profession of at least 2500 years, has changed its form according to the place, situation, and environment in which it is performed throughout history. In addition, it was affected by the political and economic conditions of the period it was in. Although the thoughts and discussions about acting started with Diderot, Stanislavski was the first to develop the method, which is still valid today, with the influence of the realism movement in the 19th century. With the birth of cinema in the 19th century, the actor, who has been playing face to face with the audience for centuries, has now started to deliver his performance to the audience with different mediums. While this performance reaches the audience, it merges, transforms and changes with many elements such as camera, angle, lens, light, editing, sound, color, director's approach and atmosphere. Directors, producers, actors and critics have realized that the usual acting technique does not give the desired result in cinema. It has been understood that a different technique is required in many areas, starting from the preparation process for the cinema to performing the performance. Although cinematic acting is not considered separately from acting, it has emerged that there is a need for its own criteria and method. In this study, acting, acting thoughts and methods throughout history are discussed, then the birth of cinema, acting and actor management in cinema are examined. The differences between on-camera and stage acting were determined, and as a result of the survey conducted with professional actors, their approaches to acting in front of the camera were determined. In front of the camera acting classes were screened in acting trainings in the world. In the light of the data obtained from all these studies, educational model suggestions for acting in front of the camera have been developed.
