A social facility of a public institution's risk assessment

Thousands of people in different sectors around the world are injured or die by exposure to work accidents and occupational diseases since appropriate risk assesments aren't made or allowed in properway. With this study, it is aimed to reduce the mentioned disability and mortality rates as a result of taking necessary risk control measures in order to reduce the risk to acceptable levels and to create a work environment that is worthy of human dignity. The study was carried out in the form of checking certain units of a public social facility, accompanied by responsible personel explaining to the revelant parties with the reasons and making recomendations for the necessary corrective and preventive measures. Despite the fact that the relevant facility is out of the scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Law, No 6331, it has been observed that both the facility manager and employees regard the activities within the scope of occupational health safety as a part of their own safety rather than legal obligation it has been also observed that a strong team spirit and the moral and motivation is at maximum level.
