The future of digital public services in the context of public administration and technology

One of the issues that will most affect the future of public services is digitalization. There are a number of digital public services that have emerged from digitalization and these services are now offered with new generation digital tools such as the Internet of Things, Cloud computing blockchain, big data and artificial intelligence rather than paper-based manual systems as in the traditional public service delivery. The aim of the research is to explain the impact of technology/digitalization on public service. A digital transformation is taking place in public administration and service delivery. The research examined how digital transformation changed on future of public services. In the thesis examined, qualitative research method was used. Examples of good practice countries using digital tools such as South Korea, Finland and Georgia are included. The projects carried out by the Digital Transformation Office in Turkey policy documents and thematic documents for digital public services have been examined and the National Technology Move which is one of the important cornerstones of the goal of full independence and sustainability in technology with domestic and national technology production constitute the important data sources of the study.
