Abstract (EN)

Kanlıtaş Höyük, located in the Upper Porsuk Valley, is an Early Chalcolithic Period settlement on the rock. In this study, decorated pottery assemblages uncovered in the trenches between 2015-2018 was examined technically and typologically. The first surveys of the mound indicate that the early period pottery came from survey. During the excavations, it was seen that even the soundings came from decorated pottery sherds. It was found that the material follows each other strucally so that there is no change between the filling and the layers. A very large part of the material studied consist of sherds. The presence of deep bowls and hole mounds is important in terms of revealing the storage elements in the settlement. As well as the presence of ornamental elements on vessels such as, incision, impressed decoration, grooving, relief, painting, the tools and their techniques used in making them are quite consistent within their cultural territory.
