Abstract (EN)

After the World War II, coating technology has been rapidly developing and has been widely used in industrial applications. In this study, hard ceramic powders Cr2O3 and different mixture ratios of Al2O3+TiO2 are coated on Al 6082 aluminum substrate with the thickness of 0,3 mm 0,5 mm and 1 mm by powder flame spray method. The coated samples? electrical resistances were measured by different electrical resistance measurement methods. Microhardness and roughness measurement experiments were performed. Coated samples were investigated by a SEM and Optical microscope and their images were obtained. From the electrical resistance measurement investigations it was found that electrical resistance increases with the increase in coating thickness and samples have from high to low electrical resistances by coating ceramic powder Cr2O3, Al2O3+TiO2 (%60/40) and Al2O3+TiO2 (%97/3). From the roughness measurement investigations it was seen that roughness increases with the increase in coating thickness and mixtures of Al2O3 samples have higher roughness values. It was found that NiAl+Cr2O3 samples have the lowest roughness values and Al2O3+TiO2 (%97/3) samples have the highest roughness values. This M.Sc. Thesis is stood by Uşak University Unit of BAP with number of 2012/TP001 project.
