The role of business in development of free interest banking: An application in Adana, Batman, Gaziantep, Hatay, Mardin, Mersin, Osmaniye and Şanlıurfa regions

Interest in accordance with opinion of religous belief is forbidden in our country for many years remain idle, or in otherwords, people?ssavings isn?t to be under pillow sans interest-free banks was due to problem of financing therea economy. This interest- free banking in the 1970s, emerged in the professional sense and in our country started its activities in 1983 under the name of Private Financial Institutions. Special Finance Houses, Lawissued in 2005 the name change went and took the title of Participation Bank.Interest-free Banks as well as many activities of commercial banks, interest- free banking with the principle of similarity showed commercial banks are divided on this point because they work.Today, interest-free banking is not only the Islamic countries, Great Britain, European countries such as Germany and the United States is very advanced in countries such as the economy is becoming common. Participation in our country after the 2001 crisis, banks enter a major break through, in 2005, but commercial bank as and participation banks have become coppetitive. Constantly updating their growth in all areas and continue to follow trends.Interest-free Banking System is described in this study, the differences between interest in come and interest-free banks operating principles are explained. In addition, the activities of Participation Banks, profitability and Participation Banks explained the role of the development of enterprises and Adana, Batman, Gaziantep, Hatay, Mardin, Mersin, Osmaniye, and was conducted in Şanlıurfa regions. Participation in the activities of banks in the final chapter, describes the factor saffecting the profitability.
