The harmony of urbanization with local govermment and environment

Urbaization is concept that is included in our lives as a result of technology, industrialization, exploitation of nature, and increasing investments in unplanned housing projects due to the crises of capitalism. İt is the primary duty of local government to prevent all these nefative developments or to present them to people in a planned way. Local governments are the decisionmaking bodies thet have the right to representcity dwellers anda re chosen by the citizens to facilitate the lives of the citizens. However, those who are chosen must not harm the environment and must act with the awareness that natural resources are not unlimited while making decisions. Otherwise, future generations will have to pay the price of nature that is treated harshly today. Fort his reason, local administrators have to be extremely reliable and transparent. The areas used, the natural resources used and the budgets are the common heritage of a city. There fore, in this regard, the measures and practices of Europe and other countries of the world should be examined. Accordingly, Turkey's own urbanization should also be evaluated and precautions needed should be discussed. Fort his purpose, in this text, some conferences held in Europe and in the other countries are going to be examined and recommendations are going to be taken into considteration, and the features of a greener world and a more reliable and transparent management styleare going to be amphasized.
